Description
Jane Street is hiring an experienced software engineer to develop code-generation functionality for the open-source OxCaml compiler. The role covers identifying optimizations, coding, testing, benchmarking, and deployment across intermediate representations such as CPS, SSA, and Sea of Nodes, while collaborating with teams across Jane Street worldwide. Candidates should be productive, comfortable using AI assistance, experienced with debuggers and low-level Linux tools, and ideally knowledgeable about x86-64 and AArch64 architectures; compiler-toolchain experience is considered, with LLVM knowledge useful. OCaml and OxCaml knowledge are not required.
