Pilgrim’s is hiring a Complex Environmental Manager in Douglas, Georgia to oversee environmental operations, wastewater treatment, the offal facility, and the water plant. The role manages and trains staff, supervises wastewater personnel, performs and submits regulatory water samples, maintains permits and compliance documentation, communicates with regulators, oversees environmental protection systems and projects, and supports emergency chemical-release reporting. Candidates typically need at least five years of directly related experience, a Class III wastewater license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months, environmental engineering and regulatory compliance expertise, and strong communication and Microsoft Office skills. A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a similar field is preferred.
