Compliance Engineering Lead at Socket

Socket is hiring a Compliance Engineering Lead to own compliance as an engineered system, reporting directly to the CISO and leading the company’s SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, risk, vendor, customer trust, and AI assurance programs. The role focuses on building automated evidence collection and control monitoring, managing audit relationships, maintaining risk and vendor programs, and hiring and leading a customer trust hire. Candidates should have personally owned at least two full SOC 2 Type II cycles, ISO 27001 certification or ISMS experience, automation and compliance-platform experience, and the ability to write clear compliance documentation.
