Description

ECL is hiring a Compliance Manager in Cardiff to own and improve its internal health, safety, environmental, quality, and compliance processes. The role will develop and implement an ISO 14001-aligned Environmental Management System, strengthen the Quality Management System, lead internal audits and compliance reviews, monitor legislation and standards, investigate incidents and non-conformances, and support managers and employees in following compliance requirements. The position seeks someone with a strong health and safety, compliance, quality, or integrated management systems background, including experience with ISO standards, internal auditing, policy development, and practical compliance improvement.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience supporting the implementation, maintenance, or improvement of ISO management systems
Previous experience carrying out internal audits
Experience reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and management systems
Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in health and safety, compliance, quality, or integrated management systems
Good working knowledge of ISO 14001
Understanding of quality-management principles and ISO standards, ideally including ISO 9001
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and good practice
Confidence working with managers and employees at all levels
Excellent written communication and document-control skills
Pragmatic approach to creating operational processes
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple compliance priorities
Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, or similar health and safety or compliance qualification
