Description

Experienced Compliance Manager needed to support the Director of Compliance and Legal in managing a Group compliance framework across Freelancer Limited and subsidiaries Escrow.com and Loadshift.com. The role covers BSA/AML/CTF compliance, assurance testing, regulatory engagement, internal controls, licensing obligations, and ongoing reporting, while partnering with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Legal to improve monitoring, onboarding, and compliance tooling.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of experience in a licensed, AML/CFT-regulated mid-market financial institution in the United States, Australia, or the United Kingdom
Experience in a compliance-related role such as Compliance Officer, MLRO, AML/CFT Officer, Compliance Manager, Senior Compliance Manager, or Senior Compliance Assurance Officer
Direct experience dealing with financial regulators, including examinations, inspections, reviews, and ongoing supervision
Preferred Qualifications: Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to improve compliance systems
Training experience for operations and support teams
Experience configuring transaction monitoring systems
Experience with client onboarding and digital KYC platforms
Experience with sanctions and PEP screening tools
Experience with AML case management or investigation systems
Experience with compliance reporting and data visualisation tools
