Description
Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Component Engineer to evaluate, qualify, test, and analyze electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and electro-optical components for hardware development, manufacturing, and testing. The role coordinates with design, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams; prepares technical documentation and specifications; evaluates suppliers; manages subcontractor component approvals; and supports failure analysis. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline, relevant EEE background, professional or academic experience with electrical parts and circuits, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. The full-time salary range is $58,200 to $108,200, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
