Shield AI is hiring a Component Engineer to build its component engineering function from the ground up for the XBAT aircraft. The role establishes processes, standards, and governance; defines quality and certification requirements; qualifies and up-screens electrical, electronic, and electromechanical components; manages PLM and ECAD data; supports failure analysis, PCN and lifecycle-change mitigation, alternate-part evaluation, and supplier technical discussions. The position requires an engineering, physics, or materials science degree, at least five years of relevant experience, and knowledge of EEE components, product lifecycle management, ECAD tools, and supply-chain risk. The Seattle, Washington location offers a salary range of $140,000 to $210,000 plus bonus, benefits, and equity.
