Description
Kidde Global Solutions is seeking a Component Engineer to establish and manage the approved component portfolio for residential fire products. The role leads component selection, qualification, standardization, lifecycle management, alternate-source development, reliability, supply-risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and cost/value engineering. It partners with Product Development, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Compliance to reduce technical and business risk. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or a related technical discipline and at least two years of engineering experience involving electronic components, product design, reliability, or sustaining engineering.
