Description
The CNC Machinist sets up and operates computer numerical control machines to produce complex machined parts, reads blueprints and job orders, selects and changes tools, inspects workpieces, adjusts feeds and speeds, performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots equipment, and follows safety and quality standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 5–10 years of CNC machine-tool experience including 4- and 5-axis capability, and experience editing and writing basic CNC programs.
