The Optical Reliability and Test Engineer will ensure the reliability and quality of advanced optical technologies and components from new product introduction through production release and sustaining. Responsibilities include developing CTQ metrics, conducting FMEA and reliability testing, performing root-cause failure analysis, establishing in-house testing capabilities, coordinating global suppliers, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field and at least 8 years of experience developing and validating optical communication components, plus 5 years of experience with high-speed optical and electrical test, measurement, control, data acquisition, and test automation.
