Ciena is hiring a Photonic Component Validation Engineer to develop and qualify advanced optical components for high-performance networking products. The role focuses on defining optical and electro-optical test methodologies, executing test plans, analyzing performance data, documenting risks, and providing technical feedback to product, chip design, and R&D teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or physics discipline, strong communication skills in French and English, and preferably experience with optical components, photonic instrumentation, metrology, and statistical analysis tools.
