Description
The Composites Materials Science & Process Engineer supports the development, qualification, optimization, and production of composite materials and manufacturing processes. The hybrid role combines materials engineering and process engineering to evaluate composite materials, develop manufacturing processes, support production operations, investigate defects and failures, perform validation testing, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or materials science discipline and at least two years of experience in composites or manufacturing engineering, with laboratory, office, and manufacturing-site work as needed.
