Scaled Composites is hiring a Composite Design Engineer in Mojave, California to develop composite aircraft structures from outer mold line requirements through conceptual design, sizing, detailed design, stress and laminate analysis, fabrication instructions, manufacturing support, and test planning. The role requires foundational knowledge of aircraft load paths, composite structures, and manufacturing; proficiency in 3D computer-aided design; strong communication and teamwork skills; and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or substantial equivalent experience.
