Description
Agri-Cycle is hiring a part-time, on-site Composting Site Operator at its composting facility in North Hartland, Vermont. The role performs day-to-day composting operations, including sourcing amendments, receiving and processing organic material, recipe building, windrow turning, aerated static pile processing, screening, testing, quality monitoring, record keeping, equipment maintenance, and odor and vector control. The position starts at ten hours per week and reports to the Senior Operations Manager. Applicants need 1–3 years of relevant hands-on experience or Vermont operator training, heavy-equipment experience, and the ability to follow compost-processing SOPs; local food-waste collection and a Class B driver’s license are preferred.
