Continental is seeking a Compound Development Engineer to develop and improve rubber compounds for Conveyor Belt and Power Transmission products. The role involves leading and participating in R&D projects, reducing compound complexity, and ensuring the performance of new compound concepts. The engineer will also drive the ideation and development of new technologies and sustainable materials, maintain interfaces with internal stakeholders, and support the creation of new processes and software applications. The position requires a Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science, several years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry, and strong knowledge of rubber materials and processing. Project management skills, analytical thinking, and fluency in both Hungarian and English are essential.
