Description
The Compounder prepares large batches of liquid, powder, or solid products by weighing and measuring chemicals according to predetermined formulas and R&D instructions before filling. The role follows standard operating procedures and regulatory practices, completes paperwork, performs housekeeping, uses RF scanners or AS400, pumps products between storage vessels and tanks, and works onsite. A high school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary chemistry education, and one year of compounding experience in a manufacturing environment are required; advanced math, forklift operation, RF scanner, independent work, mechanical aptitude, and intermediate reading and writing skills are preferred.
