Description
The role is responsible for selecting and contacting suppliers, obtaining cost information, preparing supplier invitations, comparing and negotiating prices and service terms, approving purchases within authority limits, issuing purchase orders or service contracts, negotiating contract clauses, and closing supplier agreements. It requires higher education or technical construction training, construction-supply experience, knowledge of Brazilian taxes and credit lines, import-process knowledge, intermediate Excel, and availability for lodging and travel throughout Brazil.
