Description
The Compression Engineer I supports the engineering and design of natural gas compressor packages for capital projects and operational issues. Responsibilities include compressor performance analysis, process and mechanical design, ASME code calculations, equipment data sheets, project scope definition, fabrication drawings, bills of materials, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, and technical reporting. The role requires a BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent engineering, at least two years of mechanical, package, or process engineering experience in oil and gas compression, and knowledge of ASME Section VIII and compressor software.
