Description
Midwest Compressor Systems is hiring a Compressor Technician - Testing & Commissioning for its Manufacturing team. The role involves setting up, starting, operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing gas and electric compressor systems before they leave the facility. The technician will work with pressures, temperatures, flows, vibration, instrumentation, performance data, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and test procedures to ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for the customer. Experience with natural gas compressors, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery is preferred, along with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, safety and quality commitment, and a high school diploma or GED.
