Description
The role owns the end-to-end design-make-test-model loop for an early-stage AI-driven protein and peptide design company. Responsibilities include improving discrete diffusion and folding models, operating an ML inference platform, developing fluid-handling robotics and plate-automation protocols, running BLI and SPR assays, and closing the loop by generating kinetics data and updating sequence models. The position requires hands-on experience with protein language models, robotic automation, kinetic fitting, wet-lab assays, and Python, and offers an initial consulting engagement with potential full-time conversion. It is hybrid in New York, NY, with increased on-site presence expected within three to six months.
