Huawei is hiring a Computational Electromagnetics Engineer at its Milan Research Center to develop computational electromagnetic methodologies, numerical algorithms, physics-based models, reduced-order models, and reusable software for analyzing and optimizing high-speed interconnect systems. The role involves validating simulation results, applying methods to PCBs, packages, connectors, cables, and communication channels, and collaborating with hardware and signal integrity engineers. Candidates should have strong computational electromagnetics, numerical-methods, or scientific-computing foundations, advanced-degree-level STEM training or 5+ years of industrial or research experience, and experience with electromagnetic simulation tools and engineering software in Python, C++, MATLAB, or similar languages.
