Description
MP Materials is seeking an Engineer to support the development of advanced manufacturing technologies for high-performance rare earth permanent magnets. The role focuses on integrated computation and materials engineering, including thermodynamic and process simulations, process-structure-property modeling, materials informatics, machine learning, atomistic simulations, molten metal fluid dynamics, and image-based microstructure analysis. The Engineer will collaborate with experimental process engineers, external research institutions, and industry partners to improve magnet design and manufacturing, while also contributing to technical publications and conference presentations.
