Description
Applied Research Associates, Inc. Southwest Division is hiring an experienced Senior Engineer/Scientist to develop and run Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes and perform high-fidelity simulations on local computing clusters and High Performance Computing systems. The role analyzes simulation results against experimental data, prepares technical writing and conference presentations, and supports national-security and Department of Defense applications involving air blast, shock tubes, explosives, high-speed and reacting flows, and coupled fluid/structure interaction. The position requires a Ph.D. in physics or engineering, security-clearance eligibility, 5–8 years of CFD experience, scientific programming, Unix/Linux, and Microsoft Office skills.
