Description
The position operates computed tomography (CT/CAT) scanners to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images, prepares and educates patients, takes medical histories, sets technical imaging parameters, monitors patients for reactions to contrast agents, and provides safe patient care. It also oversees radiologic supplies and equipment, maintains hygiene and infection-control standards, manages emergency department and outpatient operations during shifts, and participates in staff scheduling and performance reviews.
