Description
The Computed Tomography Technologist performs CT scans, prepares and positions patients, administers contrast when necessary, selects imaging techniques, monitors patient data, and performs quality assurance on CT equipment. The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology school, current Texas Medical Board licensure, and one of several CT-related certification or training pathways. At least one year of CT technologist experience or two years of radiologic technologist experience with CT education or experience is required, and the position may require weekend work and float to other locations.
