Description
The Computer Information Science (CIS) Lab Assistant provides hands-on technical support to faculty and students by installing, demonstrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, facilities, computers, operating systems, and networks. The role prepares labs for experiments and workshops, manages maintenance records and borrowed equipment, supports safety and housekeeping procedures, coordinates with suppliers, assists CIS faculty during practical sessions, and travels to other HCT colleges for meetings and events. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field and at least three years of relevant experience are required; a relevant master's degree and industry certifications are preferred.
