Description
The Computer Network Specialist will install, configure, and support hardware and software systems, network equipment, PCs, servers, and related peripherals for the Building Permits Department. The role troubleshoots technical problems, manages computer and server equipment, creates reports from regulatory and violation systems, and coordinates with information systems staff and contractors. Candidates must meet one of four experience, education, or civil-service pathways, including supervisory experience and recent technology-systems experience; Microsoft, VMware, Fortinet, and Cisco certifications are preferred.
