Description
The Computer Programming Course Instructor is a part-time, work-from-home instructor for BYU Pathway Worldwide’s online Computer Programming courses, including CSE 110, CSE 111, CSE 210, and CSE 212. The role focuses on teaching, mentoring, outreach, and supporting student academic success using Python and C#, while grading is handled by a centrally managed pool of qualified Graders. The position requires at least 10–12 hours per week, at least five days worked each week, and attendance at periodic team meetings. Applicants must be fluent in English and Portuguese, currently living in and authorized to work in Brazil, and hold a completed bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree and two years of professional software development experience are preferred. The role requires programming expertise, familiarity with data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming, version control, code editors, and clear written communication.
