Description
The Computer Science department at Cal State Fullerton is hiring an Instructional Student Assistant Research Pool to support faculty-led research in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, software engineering, and data science. The role involves designing and evaluating research experiments, collecting and analyzing data, developing code or models, conducting literature reviews, preparing research materials, attending meetings, and documenting results. Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students in the Computer Science department, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be eligible to work in the United States, and obtain a recommendation from a Computer Science faculty member. The position is temporary and part-time, with an initial semester appointment and hourly compensation of $17.86 to $23.84, with an anticipated hiring range not exceeding $20.00.
