Computer Scientist at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

The Computer Scientist will conduct compliance and surveillance activities under the Land Remote Sensing Policy Act, inspect remote sensing ground terminals, analyze spacecraft and satellite command-and-control networks, review remote sensing data and imagery, and investigate non-compliance or violations for administrative law enforcement proceedings. The role is located in NOAA’s Office of Space Commerce, Commercial Remote Sensing Regulatory Affairs, requires U.S. citizenship and a Special Sensitive Security Clearance, and is filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System.
