Description

The Project Engineer develops and tests aircraft flight simulators for developmental and operational test and evaluation programs. Responsibilities include simulator development, dynamic and static stability, performance, and flight-control testing; technical documentation; safety and technical reviews; and coordination of test plans, procedures, and reports. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, at least one year of specialized experience with computer networks, system-integration laboratories, or hardware-in-the-loop facilities, and the ability to program, integrate models, analyze data, and lead technical projects. Classified information, security clearance, certifications, and possible shift or emergency overtime may be required.
