ALTEN is seeking an Embedded Systems Software Development Engineer to join a client’s R&D department in the Bordeaux region. The role covers requirements analysis, product design and development, low-level software and middleware development in an Embedded Linux environment, test protocol and prototype development, production deployment, and maintenance. Candidates need an engineering or Bac +5 computer science qualification, initial Embedded Linux experience, C/C++ familiarity, and fluent English; knowledge of Visual Studio Code, multiprocessor or threaded architectures, TCP/IP, and SPI/I2C/UART is preferred, while Git and Jira are appreciated.
