KLA is hiring an Algorithm Developer for AI-Powered Computer Vision to join its R&D team and develop advanced algorithms for optical metrology systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. The role covers research and development, complex real-world challenges, collaboration with AI, optics, and semiconductor experts, and the full algorithm lifecycle from concept through implementation and on-tool integration. Candidates need an MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, at least three years of hands-on experience in AI and image processing, strong Python skills, and the ability to grow into a leadership role; optical systems or microscopy and semiconductor industry experience are advantageous.
