Buzz is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to advance computer vision initiatives for power grid infrastructure. The role owns end-to-end projects from problem framing through production deployment and monitoring, including equipment defect detection, thermal anomaly identification, vegetation encroachment monitoring, and intrusion surveillance. Responsibilities include researching and adapting computer vision and deep learning methods, building Python ML libraries and data pipelines, managing experiments and model versioning, serving models, and collaborating with clients and teammates. The position requires 2–5 years of industry experience in computer vision and machine learning, production model experience, research implementation skills, and proficiency with Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, and related tools.
