Description
AITAN is hiring a Computer Vision Engineer to join its research team and own the perception layer for autonomous aerial systems. The role develops vision-based situational awareness, shared-world models, object detection, tracking, classification, semantic scene understanding, and multi-agent perception architectures that operate at the edge in contested, GNSS-denied, and EW-contested environments. The engineer will manage the full algorithm lifecycle from simulation through flight testing and production deployment, collaborating with flight controllers, system engineers, and operations teams. The position is based in the New York metropolitan area and offers a base salary of $180,000–$220,000, along with dental, health, and vision insurance and paid time off.
