Description
The University of Chicago Medicine is hiring a full-time, onsite Computerized Tomography Scanner Technologist for its Radiology CT department in Hyde Park, Chicago. The role performs CT imaging procedures, assesses patients and selects protocols, operates imaging systems, administers contrast media, applies radiation and patient safety practices, evaluates images, documents procedures, provides patient care and education, and communicates with radiologists and referring physicians. The position requires formal radiologic technology training, current ARRT registration, Illinois IEMA licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and advanced CT certification within 12 months of hire; one year of CT experience and Level 1 Trauma Center experience are preferred.
