Description
The Conceptual Estimator, Commercial assists with commercial proposals and provides budgetary deliverables for owners. The role creates high-level and detailed budgets, performs quantity takeoffs, value-engineers projects, supports preconstruction, identifies and mitigates risk, develops estimate strategies, and prepares bid-day solutions. It requires a construction-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience, 5 to 10 years of estimating or project management experience, and familiarity with conceptual and hard-bid estimating. The position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits, requires 10–15% travel, and pays $90,000–$110,000 based on experience.
