Thurrock Council is hiring two permanent CCTV/Concierge Operators to work in a 24/7 rotating shift covering a CCTV control room and a concierge facility for three high-rise flats. The role involves operating CCTV and police and council radio equipment, preparing CCTV evidence in line with Data Protection and GDPR requirements, liaising with council officers, police, and residents, and potentially appearing in court as a technical witness. Applicants should have CCTV and IT skills, ideally a CCTV SIA Licence, and a basic DBS check. The salary is £30,219–£33,819 per annum plus a 15% rotating shift allowance, with flexible and hybrid working opportunities where applicable.
