Description
The Hatchery Technician performs quality control, animal welfare, biosecurity, safety, egg placement, hatchery setup and cleanup, equipment monitoring, transfer and processing documentation, and team support in a poultry hatchery. The role follows a Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. schedule, may require night, day, holiday, or weekend work, and requires physical work in a hot environment with repeated lifting and standing. Training is provided by automation and incubation vendors, internal trainers, and management.
