Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Configuration Engineer in Rochester to implement and maintain configuration management procedures across contracted products and projects. The role involves disseminating CM requirements, interpreting customer specifications, supporting programs and audits, managing documentation and configuration status data, providing bid estimates, reviewing resources and project plans, and improving processes. Candidates need applied configuration management expertise, CM standards knowledge, familiarity with the CMII process model, configuration identification and status accounting skills, and knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and full project lifecycles. The position is onsite and may be subject to UK security clearance and export-control restrictions.
