This role involves acquiring high-quality auction consignments, building relationships with collectors and institutions, evaluating property for authenticity and market value, and contributing to marketing and sales strategies for the Manuscripts category. The position requires extensive travel to meet clients, review collections, and participate in events. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in auction houses, dealerships, or major institutions with expertise in historical documents, autographs, letters, and archives. They must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities and a dedication to customer service.
