Heritage Auctions is hiring a Rare Books Consignment Acquisition Specialist to source and acquire quality rare-book consignments from collectors, estates, dealers, and institutions; evaluate property for condition, authenticity, and provenance; negotiate consignment terms; generate and close leads; expand the client database; market lots; and support catalog production and private treaty sales. The role is based near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and requires at least five years of experience in an auction house, commercial dealership, or major institution specializing in rare books, along with expertise in early printed books, fine bindings, literary first editions, or related areas.
