Description
The Constable 3 serves criminal and civil court processes, enforces local, state, and federal laws, seizes and auctions property, transports prisoners, serves warrants, makes arrests, acts as a Justice of the Peace bailiff, responds to emergencies, and may provide security, traffic, vehicle, and missing-persons duties. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, no felony convictions, active TCOLE certification and peace officer license, and two years of law enforcement experience; bilingual Spanish is preferred. The position works Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday for 10 hours, with some nights, holidays, and weekends, at 8656 State Hwy 71, Austin, Texas.
