Description
The Constituency Advisor administers the Constituency Office for a Member of the Legislative Assembly in the Vancouver-Renfrew constituency. Responsibilities include assisting constituents with provincial government matters, supporting community outreach, explaining legislation and policies, preparing communications, managing office operations, and supervising volunteers and practicum students. The role requires knowledge of the New Democratic Party and British Columbia’s three levels of government, strong communication and advocacy skills, computer and bookkeeping ability, familiarity with the constituency, and a driver’s license and vehicle access.
