Description
The Constituency Advisor supports a Member of the Legislative Assembly by administering the Nanaimo-Lantzville Constituency Office, assisting and advocating for constituents, conducting community outreach, communicating government policies and legislation, managing social media and visual content, preparing communications materials, overseeing office operations, and recruiting or supervising volunteers and practicum students. The role requires strong communication, social media, community engagement, administrative, organizational, political judgment, and policy interpretation skills, along with local constituency knowledge, travel availability, a valid driver's license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
