Description
The Construction and Maintenance Specialist supports hospital operations by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and construction work across building systems and facilities under supervision of the Construction Supervisor. The role involves using a CMMS for preventive maintenance tracking, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, generators, lighting, and utility systems, interpreting blueprints and codes, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, assisting with project work and contractors, and helping train or direct helpers as needed.
