Exponent is seeking a Construction Associate for their Construction Consulting Practice in Alexandria, VA. The role involves working on projects related to construction project management, program management, construction claims, contract dispute resolution, and litigation services. Responsibilities include developing and analyzing project schedules, planning and analyzing project costs, tracking project scope changes and risks, reviewing project documents, preparing status reports, and supporting project leads and clients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering, or Architecture, along with 1-5 years of industry experience, or a Master's degree with 0-5 years of experience. Skills such as strong analytical thinking, data management, excellent communication, and knowledge of construction-related software like Primavera and Microsoft Office are essential. While experience in contract dispute resolution and litigation services is a plus, it is not necessary. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and no immigration sponsorship is available.
