Moffatt & Nichol is hiring a Construction Inspector / Bridge Inspector for its Norfolk, Virginia office to inspect bridges, transportation structures, and other construction work; evaluate contractor workmanship, materials, compliance, and quality; coordinate with contractors, engineers, and local government; prepare reports, records, RFIs, and shop-drawing reviews; and assist with bridge inspections and site investigations. The role requires a civil engineering or related bachelor’s degree, Engineer in Training status, 3–7 years of heavy construction or transportation inspection experience, and field availability Monday through Friday.
