Description
The Construction Coordinator supervises contractors and work-zone activities, including preliminary scheduling, traffic-control inspections, incident response, permit and plan management, and coordination with NYSDOT and contractors. The role also trains and evaluates personnel responsible for traffic-control devices and helps educate SLIC Fiber Outside Plant Technicians on NYSDOT right-of-way compliance and safety. A high school diploma or equivalent, teamwork experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are required.
