Description
The Construction Coordinator II coordinates and inspects utility construction projects, including trenching, directional boring, conduit installation, and aerial cable installations. The role oversees contractors and vendors, manages permits, budgets, procurement, documentation, change orders, and project progress, and coordinates with municipalities, engineers, and government entities. Candidates must have experience organizing large construction projects, managing budgets and contract workers, interpreting blueprints, and applying construction, electrical, safety, and cost-accounting knowledge. The position may require varied schedules, overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and out-of-town assignments.
